Minnesota
The Laudato Si’ Movement Minnesota Chapter is grounded in our Catholic faith and the relationships we have formed. We are situated on the ancestral lands of the Dakota, Ojibwe, and Ho-Chunk people and our growing relationships with Indigenous communities and people of color have strengthened our resolve to combat environmental racism and to care for our common home. We are continuing to learn about different challenges in rural communities and are committed to supporting local community efforts to care for creation. This chapter started as an outreach effort of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul/Minneapolis and the energy of the team seeks to engage all 6 dioceses in Minnesota. We are excited to continue this journey together through this state chapter.
