Seven Sisters – Seattle: Return of the Matriarchy

Jun 15, 2026 | North America

This national campaign, led by Se’Si’Le, centers Indigenous women leaders and their allies responding to the intersecting crises of biodiversity loss, climate disruption, and environmental injustice. Grounded in Indigenous ways of knowing, their leadership calls us into deeper relational responsibility, long-term stewardship, and care for future generations.

As our partner, IPJC has named; as people of faith, we are called to stand alongside Indigenous communities—to honor their wisdom, support ecosystem restoration, and work toward right relationship with all of Creation.

We are honored to be invited as a Witness in this Seattle stop on the campaign: Anna Johnson, Director of North America at the Laudato Si’ Movement, will serve as a witness representing the Catholic community, offering reflection grounded in Laudato Si’ and our shared call to ecological conversion.
