As Earth Day approaches, you’re invited to step away for a day of thoughtful conversation and shared purpose at the Earth Day Summit: Finding Common Ground on Saturday, April 25 at Seattle University.
The day begins at 9:00 a.m. (doors open at 8:30 a.m.) in the Student Center and will include a mix of speakers, small-group workshops, and time to connect with others who care about the future of our common home. It’s meant to be practical and grounded—an opportunity to listen, learn, and think about what caring for creation looks like in our own communities.
Light breakfast will be available when you arrive, along with coffee and tea. A vegetarian lunch is provided, with options for a variety of dietary needs, and there will be a break in the afternoon with refreshments before the day wraps up at 4:30 p.m.
If you’re able, bring a reusable mug and water bottle to help reduce waste. And if your plans change, please let the organizers know so they can adjust for food and seating.
Whether you’ve been involved in this work for years or are just beginning to explore it, you’re welcome. It’s a simple invitation: come, listen, and be part of the conversation.
