As we continue to reflect on the Feast of St. Francis and his call to live in harmony with all creation, the Laudato Si’ Movement North America (LSMNA) invites you to join an inspiring webinar presented by the Catholic Health Association (CHA) and Hospital Sisters Mission Outreach (HSMO): “Building Right Relationships and Caring for Creation” on Tuesday, November 11 from 1 to 2 p.m. EST. There is no cost to attend the webinar.
This session will explore how the way organizations donate medical supplies can have a profound impact on both human health and the environment, especially in low-resource communities around the world. Guided by the example of St. Francis of Assisi, whose life was marked by compassion, respect, and right relationship with all creation, the discussion will highlight how ethical and sustainable practices in medical donation can transform lives and ecosystems.
Attendees will learn how Hospital Sisters Mission Outreach approaches medical supply donations through a holistic lens that emphasizes partnership, sustainability, and community empowerment. The webinar will explore the life-saving impact of responsible medical donations on low-resource communities around the world and demonstrate how organizations can embed ethical and ecological practices into their donation processes. By focusing on right relationships and stewardship of creation, participants will discover how faith-based action can improve global health while protecting the environment.
